Coach Nicola's online postnatal fitness class is designed to build your fitness and strength, whatever your postnatal stage. The small group sessions are a mixture of cardio and non impact, strengthening exercises, designed to help you heal, get fitter and become stronger.

Each 45 minute session includes mobility and core work, a fitness circuit to build your strength and a restorative cool down.

Who is this online postnatal fitness class for?

If you are postnatal and want to build your fitness in a fun, safe and progressive way then this postnatal exercise class is for you. Be prepared to get sweaty, get your heart pumping and build strength.

If you are newly postnatal you will need to have had your GP post birth check and been cleared to exercise, this is usually 6-8 weeks (12 weeks for a c-section birth).

All fitness levels are welcome.

And no need to worry about childcare. The online sessions are done from the comfort of your own home, so your baby can be with you during the class.

So, how does this work?

When you make your first booking you'll be asked to complete an online Pre-Screening form to ensure that this session is right for you and for me to get a better idea of your individual needs.

We will then have a chat to discuss the Pre-Screening so that I know where you are on your postnatal journey and make sure the exercises are suitable for you.

Tuesdays 9.30-10.15am Delivered direct to your home via Zoom

Additional Information and FAQs

The online postnatal fitness class includes a mixture of boyweight and resistance exercises so you will need some small equipment. This includes handled resistance tubes, resistance bands, mini-bands, a pilates ball and weights. However, there will always be bodyweight only options for those of yuo just starting out or who do not have the equipment. If you need any advice on what you need or what can be substituted for any of the equipment please let me know.
Your clothes should be comfortable and breathable, layers are recommended so you can remove or add as needed.
Coach Nicola's online postnatal fitness classes are all about fun and working at the level that is right for you. Which means you can work in your own time and at your own pace. Options are given for beginners and for those of you who are ready for more of a challenge. Before your first session you will need to have a pre-screening chat with me so we can discuss your postnatal stage and exercises will be given that are appropriate to you.
It is usually a good idea to feed baby before joining a session if they are due a feed. This means baby isn’t hungry and you can spend 45 minutes on YOU. If you’re breastfeeding this also ensures you are more comfortable when you are exercising.
No worries, you can keep online but just drop out from the session to see to baby. Once you have finished you can rejoin the group.
Babies cry! Don't worry. During the main session everyone will be on mute so your baby won't be disturbing the class. Take the time needed to help your baby to settle, then as soon as baby is settled you can resume your exercises.
Before you come to a class you will be asked to complete a pre-screening form and then have a chat with me. We can go over any concerns you have about your pelvic floor and core and discuss if the circuits classes are right for you. If you experience leaks, pain, or have a large tummy gap then you may be advised to join my Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman or Diastasis Recovery programmes or to seek the advice of a women's health physio.
