An 8 week, supported programme that will take you from 5k-10k

This programme is the missing middle step between Couch to 5k and longer distance running, with the added benefit of in-person support and community.

You will be following a clear, progressive plan while joining existing Waddesdon Runners group runs.

This is not a fast paced or time-focused plan. There’s no pressure to run fast. And no expectation that you train like an elite athlete.

Instead, this 5k to 10k running programme helps you build distance while feeling stronger, more confident, and supported every step of the way.

Who this programme is for

This programme is perfect for you if you

  • can comfortably run 5k (even if it still feels challenging)
  • want to work towards running 10k at an easy, conversational pace
  • want clear guidance on how to progress safely
  • have a busy life and need a plan that fits around work, family, and real life

  • are chasing a fast 10k time or PB
  • want intense speed sessions every run
  • enjoy very high volume training

About your coach

This 5k to 10k programme is written and coached by a qualified running coach and personal trainer who specialises in helping everyday runners build strength, confidence, and consistency.

I work with runners who want to improve, not by doing more and more, but by training smarter.

I believe running should be fun, enjoyable, and support your life, not take it over.
