Additional Information and FAQs

Strong combines bodyweight exercises with targeted weight training. You will need dumbbells, resistance bands, mini-bands and some other small equipment. I suggest having 2 pairs of dumbbells, one at a lighter weight and one that is heavier. What these weights are depends on where you are starting on your fitness journey. If you need any advice on what you need or what can be substituted for any of the equipment please let me know.
Please wear clothes that are comfortable and breathable. You may also want to have a towel and water at hand. It is advised to do the sessions in bare feet so you don't need to wear trainers or special socks.
You work at your own pace during these session, which means you do not need to keep up with me or anyone else in the class. We use time rather than reps for the session which allows you to work at the right pace for you.
We all have movements that challenge our co-ordination at times! If you find a movement difficult I will be at hand to break it down for you or offer an alternative that you can do until you feel confident at trying the full movement.
If you experience leaks, pain, or have a tummy gap after pregnancy then you may be advised to join my Everywoman programme before starting Strong. All women, apart from Everywoman graduates, must complete a thorough Holistic Core Restore® screening form as part of the booking process.
